Corey admits that adjusting to life in Ecuador has been hard for him. He has been struggling with adjustments, and the US definitely has more facilities and comforts to offer. He and Evelin were about to make their move towards the town, and their car wouldn’t start. Corey considers that as the perfect example of how inconvenient it can sometimes get in Ecuador. He pointed out that the need gasoline. However, there is no gas station.

Evelin takes him to a house, and they get containers filled with gas. So, that’s their gas station! He calls it a very old school and a third world kind of life. They both were fed up of it constantly breaking down.

Corey Doesn’t Think A New Car Is A Smart Move

Evelin even goes on to say that she wants to burn the car and dance around it. She has been telling Corey to buy a new car, but he keeps saying that they will fix the old one and use it. Evelin keeps worrying that the car might break down in the middle of the road. She just wants him to buy a new car! When she tells him to go ahead with it, he says that it’s too expensive to buy a new car. However, according to Evelin, they are as it is paying a lot to get the old one fixed every month.

Corey says that it’s not a smart move to buy a new car. Evelin says that she is getting wrinkles because of Corey and the car. Corey has already invested a lot of his savings in a cocktail bar. He has also purchased property here. Now, Corey is very anxious about putting money out on the table. If the bar doesn’t do well, he doesn’t know how long it is going to last.
