Even though Evely from Ecuador doesn’t want to settle in America, she seems to be with Corey in anticipation of a better lifestyle. In the episode, we saw that Corey took her shopping, and she clearly went crazy with her spendthrift attitude. We have heard that the best things in life come for free. Well, Corey’s love of his life took it to heart. Once she realized that she doesn’t have to pay for all that stuff, she went over the board. More so, without even realizing that she had spent over 700 dollars.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way; Is Evelyn Using Corey?
Corey has given her a total of $40,000 to build property for them and invest in a bar. Corey mentioned that he had given all that money to Evelyn to make sure that she thinks it is serious and going somewhere. He said during the episode that he doesn’t want to put a price on her happiness. During the time she boxing stuff up from her unlimited shopping spree, Corey tried to explain to her that he doesn’t mind her spending his money. But he is leaving his life and job behind to start a new life with her, and he is going to have to keep some savings year marked for the future.
But it all fell on deaf ears. Even when Evelyn was having dinner with Corey and his family, she brought it up that in her culture, it is expected for the man to provide and fulfill all her wife’s needs. They have a lot of differences, and it doesn’t seem clear why the couple is even together. Even Corey’s parents are worried about how they are planning to resolve their differences. They seem to support them as a couple and want them to be happy.

The time when Corey explained to her the importance of saving up for the future, Evelyn appeared casual and paid no heed to what he was saying. He is leaving everything behind for her and draining himself financially. If this doesn’t work out, things will blow up in his face.
