Before heading back to Alaska, Bear Brown focused on transforming his lifestyle and getting in shape. The Alaskan Bush People star opened up on social media about wanting to shed his “dad bod” and feel healthier before returning to his roots. Recently, Bear shared a mirror selfie showing off his toned abs, writing, “Work in progress! I’ve lost 8 pounds! Still working to get the Dad bod off!” Fans flooded the comments with mixed reactions. Many praised his dedication and motivation, calling his fitness journey inspiring.
One fan even joked, “Didn’t have Bear Brown thirst traps on my bingo card for this month!” However, others pointed out that Bear never looked out of shape to begin with. His latest posts also came after a cryptic message that had worried fans about his well-being. But Bear quickly reassured everyone that he was doing fine and focusing on staying positive. Now, with renewed energy and confidence, he’s returned to Alaska.
In a new video uploaded to social media, Bear Brown proved that his wilderness instincts are still razor-sharp. Wearing his signature leather jacket and jeans, the Alaskan Bush People star filmed himself practicing his knife-throwing skills in the woods. “Just brushing off on my knife-throwing skills,” Bear said in the clip. “Been a long time since I’ve practiced throwing this thing. Was really good at sticking it. Let’s give it a try,” he added.
He then hurled his hunting knife at a nearby tree several times, each throw landing perfectly on target. He reflected on his time in Alaska, expressing gratitude for revisiting familiar places and sharing his dream of one day building a cabin where his kids could experience “the magic of Alaska.”
Bear shares three sons, River, Cove, and Everest, with estranged wife Raiven Brown. He added in the video that watching his children grow has made him realize how quickly time passes. “I’ll be an old man soon, and they’ll be the adults,” he said. “So I want to spend as much time with them as I can.” For the latest Alaskan Bush People tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
