Alaskan Bush People: Matt Returns After Striking a Deal With Dad Billy

Alaskan Bush People

Matt is returning to the world of reality TV with Alaskan Bush People after being off the radar for quite some time! We all know about the fight he had with his dad over the rehab. It seems like the two of them have found a middle ground. Let’s take a look at what’s going on with the Alaskan Bush family.

Alaskan Bush People: Matt Coming Back To Washington

After spending the whole of last year in California, Matt is finally setting foot in Washington again. On August 4th, he posted a video on Instagram where he was standing in front of the Palmers lake. This proves that on August 4th, he was located in Washington with the rest of the family. The video has gotten over 16000 views so far, and the count is increasing!
He was thinking about his fans and wished them a good weekend. He also let the audience know that he was having a great weekend there too. Matt mentioned that he hadn’t posted a video for a while. We can consider this step as his grand return to the spotlight.

A source close to the family reveals that Matt spent the week with his family. Now, he has returned back to California. He made up with his dad, and they’re good now. The best part of the reconciliation is that they have finally buried the hatchet and we will see Matt on the next season of Alaskan Bush People! Apparently, he made a deal with Billy, and they reached an agreement. The agreement involved Matt starring in the upcoming season.

Alaskan Bush People: Agreement About Matt Being Sober

Billy has always hated the fact that his son had a substance abuse problem. Earlier too, the father-son duo destroyed their relationship over his rehab. This time, Billy has made it perfectly clear that his son has to be sober at all times. Otherwise, he will call off the deal. However, this is easy to say, but Matt is likely to have a hard time abiding by this rule. Even though he has agreed with his dad, fans know that it’s hard for him to stay sober for a significant amount of time.
When he disappeared from Washington at the end of 2018, he wandered the desert for quite some time. After several months of roaming around, he came to a halt at the Betty Ford Clinic outside of Palm Springs in California. Matt has assured his dad that he is going to behave well this time. However, if he doesn’t live up to his end of the deal, the consequences can be even dire than what they were previously.
