Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown is finally declared the legal father of his minor son. In the recent development, the State of Alaska found “clear and convincing evidence that Solomon Isaiah Brown is the biological father of the minor child.” Following this, Bear is fighting a battle with his ex-girlfriend Raiven for the legal custody of his son.

Alaskan Bush People: Bear Brown Identified As The Legal Father Of His Son

Earlier, the 31-year-old reality star was denied paternity. It was alleged that Solomon, aka Bear Brown, is unstable. He lives in a home that is a makeshift storage container. However, he confirmed that he is the legal father of 13-week-old River, after conducting a successful DNA test in May.

In an Instagram post, he said, “Hey everybody, I’ve got some awesome news to share with you all. It is one hundred percent official – River is my son, I got the results today.”

“It is awesome news it was never any doubt, but in order for me to get equal rights as a parent, that is one thing I had to prove that I am actually River’s dad.”

Why Raiven And Bear Brown Are Not Together?

The couple has been staying separately because of their rocky relationship. Raiven even filed a restraining order against Bear in February, accusing him of abusive behavior. She further claimed that Bear threatened her with a gun and audaciously said that “gun laws don’t apply” to him.

Alaskan Bush People: Legal Custody Of River Anthony

Raiven gave birth to a premature River Anthony in March. She shared this news on her Instagram, noting that Medicaid covered hospital bills. Since then, she has been raising him on her own. According to Raven, Bear was not present at the time of River’s birth, nor did he attend to any calls. He didn’t even come to meet the mother and son.

The following week Bear marched to the courthouse and his attorney to file documents challenging any paternity claims made by Raiven. However, after the news broke out, he said that this paperwork was a ‘mistake.’ After that, he is silently convincing his fans on social media about his paternal claim.

On the other hand, Raiven’s documents read, “It is in the best interests of the minor child that defendant Raiven Adams have sole legal custody of the minor child.” It also said that Raiven must have “primary physical custody of the minor child” and ‘restricted visitation’ for Bear.

Why Raiven Wants The Full Custody Of Her Son?

Raiven’s concerns about cutting all the ties from Bear Brown are valid. Bear mustn’t be given custody of River. Reportedly, Bear resides in a storage container, which is, for sure, not fit for a child. Moreover, the more important fact is that Bear exhibits erratic and abusive behavior. This poses a significant roadblock in the way of him acquiring custody of River. His menacing behavior drove Raiven away from him, and she doesn’t want any impact of it on her son.
