They inform them that, as in real estate or as an independent contractor, healthcare can be challenging. Her parents have also expressed concern about her healthcare after she marries him. So their concern is nothing new.

In the clip, the Dupree family gathered. Colin is also present. Baylen’s father asks, “If this isn’t going to work out, what are you gonna do?”. This is in the context of Colin’s new real estate career. Colin has been in the United States Air Force as a body bearer before. Whether or not he is still working in the military is not known.
