The finale episode of Below Deck Mediterranean featured Captain Sandy Yawn proposing to her girlfriend, Leah, in a romantic beachside proposal. The season ended on a dramatic yet heartfelt note. The tension rose when Joe accidentally snagged the tender’s lines. However, everyone managed to free the boat in time, and later, Sandy got down on her knees, and Leah said yes.

​Whereas Aesha and Ellie reconciled, and Aesha acknowledged her hard work. Eight months later, the audience saw Sandy and Leah getting married in Fort Lauderdale. Aesha, Kate Chastain, and a more familiar face from the yacht were present at the wedding. Despite whatever happened throughout the season, it ended with celebration and love.

Sandy Yawn will step back into her captain duties, whereas Aesha will have a major workload as the Chief Stew on BDM. However, it appears that she and the new full-time chef, Josh Bingham, may not get along particularly well. Moving further, Josh was missing from the trailer, so many are predicting that he might not be a part of the upcoming season.
