​Erin Bates shared a post featuring her newborn and husband, Chad. Her appearance in a wheelchair shocked everyone. She wrote, “After almost three weeks in the hospital, I have never been so thankful to finally head home to our babies.” She further revealed that they do not have all the answers yet. And she did not have the function in her right leg. “But we are choosing to count every blessing-especially the gift of being together again,” she added.

​Erin further wrote that everyone’s prayer has carried them through, and it means the world to them. Her fans reacted with shock upon learning that sepsis had caused her to lose function in her right leg. But they also felt relieved knowing the hospital had discharged her and she had returned home.
