The infamous Chrisley family from ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ has risen from the ashes, with various new projects marking their new beginnings. In one such project, ‘Chrisley Confessions 2.0,’ a podcast, Papa Chrisley, Todd, expressed disappointment in his daughter, Savannah. Savannah, in the latest spin-off to the original show, called out her grandfather, Harvey, for his blatant favoritism toward Chase, her brother. Todd, on the podcast, expressed his disapproval of Savannah airing the “family’s dirty laundry,” as he feels the public confrontation was unnecessary. 

Harvey later admitted to his unequal behavior towards his grandchildren. He admitted to using Chase to fill the ‘void’ his own son left. With Savannah and Chase’s conflict as the spotlight, the show mostly revolved around the sibling conflict and the grandfather confrontation. The exchange between Savannah and Harvey was brutal as she cut straight to how she felt abandoned by him, even in the unprecedented times of her parents’ arrest, when she needed him the most. “I have struggled to see eye to eye with my Papa Harvey my entire life; Chase has always been his chosen child,” she shared in the show. 

Todd, on the other hand, remained ‘not in favor’ of this whole situation. “If you want to call him out for, you know, not being there for you and not being the grandfather that he should have been, then that should have been done off air,” he discussed in his podcast. “I feel like, in some situations, less is more, right?,” he later added, stating how Savannah and Harvey’s relationship problems were a private matter to discuss. Though both he and his wife later admitted to Harvey’s favoritism towards Chase. Julie also expressed her sadness that her father and daughter were at odds with each other. 

Later, Harvey expressed his wishes to reconnect with his granddaughter for ‘lost times’. Chase, too, has apologised to Savannah on various occasions for not being there for her while she faced all the hardships alone. He shared how he also had to address his trauma and his demons after the ill-fated night of their parents’ arrest. Though it doesn’t excuse him from leaving his sister all alone to fend for herself, he promised to be there for her more from now on.
