Savannah loved that her father’s sense of humor remained intact, even though he had gone through a difficult time. She applauded him in interviews and conferences for being true to himself.

Todd reflected on his prison days, saying he was subjected to harsh treatment, but not more than Julie. She received no facility like air conditioning, while his place had it repaired immediately after it stopped working. To him, women are more abused than men behind bars. Both of their experiences are indeed a push for Savannah to keep fighting for other voiceless prisoners.

Todd Chrisley admitted that in prison, he took pleasure in disturbing his inmates and the staff of the facility where he was locked up. Every day, he woke up intending to make them suffer miserably. He himself faced a lot due to them, so he took every opportunity to observe them in their natural conditions. While fans hoped he would be kind during that phase, they were shocked by his statements.

Todd poked workers who are already evil human beings to make their jobs difficult. He chatted about this in Savannah’s Unlocked podcast alongside Julie, who also claimed that those people are horrible. It seems the former reality star had a strong mindset for survival in hell like prison. However, he also made some good friends and participated in Bible readings.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were apart for the past two years, but they reunited in their Tennessee home with their four children. The full pardon helped them have their best day in their life.  So, Todd opened up about his first night with his wife on his daughter’s podcast. 

While Julie and Todd claimed that they were still in their marriage without considering divorce, the latter explained their first night together. He admitted that he was grateful to be able to sleep next to her in their bed. “And I think you said it best, there was no awkwardness,” Julie asked her husband of 30 years.

Todd replied to Julie that he didn’t feel the slightest bit weird about sharing the same bed with her. She added that they kind of thought they slipped back to their original lifestyle. This made him quickly start joking NSFW, stating, “I mean, we got back in our routine. I mean, she got on top.”

But Julie was very quick to shut up Todd’s mouth in a few seconds. She called him a liar, requesting that Savannah and the editors cut out the scene. Despite their physical separation due to staying in different prison facilities, they were connected through their minds. He remained firm on never feeling that she wasn’t there with him.
