Last June, the sad demise of Mary Duggar marked her funeral episode. The family came together to say goodbye to their beloved. Even the infamous Josh Duggar was there. However, there was no sign of Jill and Derick being there. So, one fan questioned whether they are never going to see Jill, Derick, or their kids on the show. The comment continued to express surprise over the family not being there at grandma’s funeral as well.
Derick told the follower that it was not their fault that they weren’t there. He clarified that TLC cut them out and those they don’t want the viewers to see. The script didn’t comprise them or the kings (cousin Amy) to be there on the memorial episode. Derick added that the shows are all about what TLC wants them to be about. Or maybe create their very own storyline.

Amy posted and thanked Derick for throwing light on some gray areas. The reason behind Derick and Jill quitting was the condition under which they had been filming. According to him, he and Jill are attempting to pick up the pieces. If they continued that way, Derick claims that their lives would have easily been destroyed.
On the other hand, some fans are not taking Derick too seriously. He has spoken ill about a transgender reality TV star. The transphobic comments that happen out of the public eye are likely the reason he got cut out of the episode. The feud between Jim Bob and Derick is far from over. Derick claims that Jim is keeping the money that belongs to his kids for himself.
We know that Jim and Michelle like to keep the extreme details of their personal life under covers. However, this is the first time a feud has gone so viral. Perhaps, the discreetness of Jim is why Derick is freely using social media as his weapon. He has been openly expressing his feelings about his father-in-law, who, by the way, is surrounded by a lot of controversies.
