And has even called it the end of ‘toxic’ relations. However, we have a new update about Derick and Jill. Recently Derick was interviewed by First Class Parenthood. And the later made several revelations about himself and his wife. Jill Duggar and Derick have been married since 2014, and they now have two sons together.
Well, the TLC Counting On stars must be aware of Derick’s unsavoury activity on Twitter. Moreover, that’s the reason why both were removed from the show. Both Jill and Derick say that they are happy about the incident. In addition to that, the couple is satisfied with ending all the ties with Jill’s toxic family.
Counting On: Has Derick Decided To Change His Career?
Those who are familiar with the Duggars certainly know all about Derick Dillard. In a recent interview, Derick gave a quick insight. The reality star has decided to change careers and go back to law school. Moreover, he wants to become a public defender or prosecutor. Derick says that he wants to be involved in public service. Hence, the reality star is trying to get a lot of experience in that. The 31 years old revealed that initially, he studied accounting. But the circumstances in his life made him pursue law.
Here’s what Derick has to say about the same, “I worked for the state attorney general this past summer. In fact, I am currently interning at a prosecutor’s office. And by getting broad experience in that area, I would work as a public defender or prosecutor initially.” Currently, the Counting On star is a law student at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Counting On: Jill Duggar And Derick Are Trying To Regain Control
Just a few weeks ago, Derick and Jill had cut ties with Counting On. Moreover, when asked upon the reason for their action. The couple stated that they did so to avoid toxic relationships” and “regain control.” In fact, Derick has a feud with patriarch Jim Bob Duggar. Just a few days back, the 31 years old had accused Jill’s father of withholding money from their TLC reality show. Moreover, Jill has been breaking away from her conservative family in recent years.
In talks with the host of Without A Crystal Ball, Derick came out clean. The Counting On star says, “We are now trying to avoid toxic relationships for the health and recovery of our family.” He further claims that his actions have a lot to do with his mental peace rather than money.
