TLC

Counting On fame Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo has been quite vocal about Josh’s case. Well, it has only been Duggar’s daughters who were seen talking about Josh’s case openly. Why aren’t the sons coming forward to make a statement? Jinger and Jeremy also launched their book recently, titled ‘The Hope We Hold.’ In this book, Jinger is seen to talk about facing horrifying nights in childhood. And, as per the police report, Josh molested her sisters at night. Indeed, it connects the dots why Jinger had sleepless nights. Let us see below how Jinger and Jeremy take Josh’s child abuse case.

Counting On: Jeremy Was Horrified After Knowing Josh’s Child Abuse Case

Jeremy and Jinger talked about a lot of stuff in their book, released on May 4. From Jinger’s early childhood to her teenage and marriage, everything is covered in it. However, one thing which is not mentioned in it is Josh Duggar’s recent arrest. Well, the arrest took place after the book was ready. So, Jinger and Jeremy have now stepped up to openly talk about Josh’s child abuse case.

Jeremy explained the moment when he got to know about Josh’s arrest in an interview with Today. He stated, “Nothing can prepare someone to receive news like that.” He further went on to explain that he was equally horrified by the news, just like anyone else. Jeremy also “wants to see justice carried out.” He even made it clear not to support child abuse and appreciates authority for their tireless work. Moreover, Jinger’s husband prayed for all the victims who have faced the traumatic situation. Can praying itself take away the pain?

Counting On: Jinger Explains Her Sleepless Nights in The Book

If you have already read Jinger and Jeremy’s book, you must know about Jinger’s sleepless nights. She was facing sleepless and fearful nights when she was 12, living with her family in Arkansas. The reality star explains how she was not able to sleep, and her mind swirled various thoughts. She added, “The fears usually culminated with one terrifying, all-consuming question: If I died tonight, would I go to heaven?” She even talked about her problem with her mother.

Michelle then used to talk and relax her daughter by quoting prayers to her. Her father used to quote scriptures, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Although, the prayers never helped Jinger to get away from her traumatizing nights. However, the reality star did not mention that it was her brother, Josh, behind those sleepless nights. However, it seems pretty clear to the fans that it was Josh. The police also report saying that Josh molested her sisters at night when everyone in the house were asleep.

Is it enough to quote prayers to your kids when they are not in a good state of mind? Isn’t talking out a better option? It seems that it would have been better if Duggars would have taken the help of a psychologist or even had a talk with their daughters. Meanwhile, Duggar’s community church explains these traumatizing experiences to occur because of a lack of faith. That’s definitely not true. Elsewhere, Josh Duggar is currently out on bail. Thankfully, he is not allowed to be around any minors. Stay tuned here for more Duggar updates.
