Joy-Anna shared a picture on Instagram mourning the loss of her daughter. She added the caption: “One year without her” in her 26th June post. The post further read that how the couple had to leave their ultrasound appointment sobbing and crying. They were left wondering how to go ahead and deliver the baby. Joy-Anna said that it’s been a year since the couple lost Annabelle.

She continued that “it hurts to look back at … the pain and heartbreak,” but the couple is grateful for how far they have come. “We love you, Annabell Elise!” Joy-Anna said, signing off.

The reality TV star thanked her fans for the “prayers and love” they showed her and her husband. She is grateful for their support following the couple’s irreparable loss.

He said that he is inspired by the way they have leaned on Jesus for their strength! Furthermore, Anna Duggar too chipped in. She wrote, “The way you have trusted Jesus through the pain is such an example! The love, joy, and peace of Jesus radiate from your life. I miss Annabell so much and look forward to seeing her in heaven.”

Counting On: Joy-Anna Recalls Time Of Her Miscarriage, Holds On To Hope

Joy-Anna revealed her miscarriage in July 2019. She made a heartfelt post for sharing her loss. In the post, she mentioned that the couple named the girl Annabell Elise. She explained that Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.’ The Counting On alum further added that it was a precious thing that their daughter opened her eyes to face Jesus.

The 19 Kids and Counting alum told a news tabloid that she was trying hard to support her sisters’ pregnancies. In the wake of her own loss, it was difficult for Joy-Anna to keep up with the news coming in. However, she said that she kept checking on her sisters as they were adding little blessings to their family.

Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth married in May 2017 and had their son Gideon the following year. Now, they are excitedly expecting their second child.
