Counting On: Stars Jill and Derick Banned From Duggar House After He Accused Jim

Counting On

Jill and Derick have been spending this holiday season away from the Duggar family. According to speculations, Jill and Derick have been involved in some sort of family feud. This was the assumed reason why they didn’t show up with family at Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. Now, the cat is out of the bag, and the family feud is out in the open. Apparently, Derick accused Jim of taking all their Counting On income.

Counting On: Derick’s Shocking Admission On Instagram

In the comments section of a post related to Christmas on Instagram, he admitted that the couple is prohibited from visiting the family home in the absence of Jim. In fact, when Jill’s sister was in labor and needed her help, she had to ask for permission from the patriarch. This year, the couple opted out of spending Christmas eve with family. Instead, they celebrated the festival with their little family and friends.

When a fan posed the question of the couple not being at the house, he said that they are not Counting On anymore. He explained that they made guest appearances for birthdays, weddings, and other events. They were under the impression that the kids and their spouses didn’t make any money. Since they directly didn’t make any contract with TLC, they didn’t know that there was a contract at all.

Counting On: Derick and Jill Convinced They Would Be Sued

Derick mentioned that the couple was under the impression that they will have to face trouble with the law if they didn’t film. When fans asked him whether they would return to the TLC series once again, he said that it probably wouldn’t happen unless some significant change happens.

But in the end, he stated that he has no hard feelings. According to him, they have more awareness now, and the truth has set them free. According to his earlier claims, the Duggar kids have been volunteers for the show in 2018. He also hinted that Jill and Derick might even take some legal action against the network.

Counting On: Where Are Jill and Derick Now?

Derick is in law school, and the couple is no longer on Counting On. In November 2019, he tweeted that TLC didn’t want them to quit. However, the network did not provide any clarification. He advises TLC to care about people instead of just money. All he had to say at the time was for TLC to lawyer up. With a hint of condescension, he made a threat about a storm coming up.
