Dangerously Obese: Doctor Procter Approves Surgery For Molly

Dangerously Obese’s latest star, Molly, seeks to lose weight. Last time Molly visited Doctor Procter, she weighed 580 pounds. The bariatric surgeon wants her to get to 540 pounds. In a clip released by TLC, she is back for her weight check at his office. He wants to see if she has put in the work to lose weight before surgery to check her commitment to making changes.

Molly’s weight shows 535 pounds. She is joyful to see that she has lost 5 pounds, which is lower than her prescribed weight. Her sister cheers her on, and so does the doctor. He even high-fives Molly for the tremendous loss. “I’m so proud of you”, her sister says as she hugs her. Doctor Procter informs her that she can be scheduled for surgery next week.

Doctor Procter comments that all the hard work Molly is putting in is showing its results. He then feels that she is seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
