Counting On: Derick Shades At Coming Back On TLC Show
On Twitter, a fan asked Derick as to where he and Jill have been. He jokingly said that they are hanging around in Arkansas. The fan further mentioned that they would love to see them back on the show. To this, Derick replied that maybe, one day they will be back to filming it. This revelation gave some hope to the fans willing to see Derick and Jill back on the screen. Although Jill is back for the occasional birth special playing the midwife, her husband is nowhere to be seen.
Derick Slamming Jim Bob, Says Will Not Return On The Show
In December 2019, Derrick stated that he will not return on the show until something changes. He questioned the circumstances they were filming in because they pushed them to the brink of sanity. It would have destroyed their lives. The reality TV star has spoken about how and Jill went through everything to leave the show. That eventually strained their relationships with the rest of the family too. A point worth mentioning is that Derick has accused Jim Bob of manipulating the show and controlling others’ actions and finances. He had slammed the Duggar patriarch on multiple occasions.
Counting On: Derick Shares TLC Pressurizing Them On Quitting The Show
Derick admitted that they were pressured to think that they were required to and that they would get sued if we didn’t. He further explained that it’s not going to look good for TLC when it’s exposed that they pressured an abuse victim to continue filming when we tried to quit, just so they could continue with Jill and Jessa. Now with Jill hinting at growing tension between her and her parents, it is difficult to say if the couple will return.
