Back in April, Duggar News fame Amy Duggar King revealed that her husband, Dillon King, is suffering from a severe diaphragmatic rupture. This is a rare and life-threatening condition. In such cases, patients’ vital organs, including the kidneys and parts of their digestive system, shift towards the chest cavity. King’s CT scans also revealed there was a 4-inch tear in his diaphragm.

She also disclosed that his right kidney, appendix, colon, and small intestine were also displaced. But it seems that Dillon is doing better now. Amy had given a significant update about his health. She said that he was experiencing a lot of pain, and that is why the doctor did many tests. “We eventually found out it was connected to Celiac disease,” Amy added. Well, Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease.

In such a condition, the immune system reacts to gluten. It can also cause damage to the small intestine. She further added that changing his diet has already made an enormous difference. She further stated that Dillon still has a diaphragmatic issue that they are working through to determine the next steps. The couple got married in September 2015, and they are proud parents to a 5-year-old son, Daxton.

Amy added that she has been married to Dillon for 10 years now. She further said, “It wasn’t until he brought that girl to the bonfire.” Duggar further noted that she was confused as to why she was feeling a certain way about King after knowing him for six years.
