The mother of one wrote in her story that she had accidentally locked her son, Ayaan, in the car. Her car keys, cellphone, wallet, and almost everything else were inside the vehicle. She further wrote that the incident occurred near a grocery store and exclaimed that it was the most traumatizing experience of her life.

The reality TV star also conducted a live stream session on her YouTube channel, where she provided a detailed account of the incident. She added that at first, she tried to open all the car doors. When she screamed for help, no one came to her aid. Eventually, she saw a Muslim woman wearing a hijab. The other women saw Shaeeda screaming and panicking, but chose to leave without acknowledging what had happened.
