‘I Am Jazz’: Jazz Jennings Performs For Raising Money For Noelle’s Gender Confirmation Surgery

I Am Jazz star revealed in a video that the past few months have been quite overwhelming for her. Between her valedictorian speech and drag shows, it was hard to balance. We can see Noel and Jazz flaunting their new workout clothes and Noelle is excited about her gender confirmation surgery. Let’s take a detailed look at this.

I Am Jazz: Noelle Is Not Anxious About Her Surgery

Even though people might expect her to be a little anxious, but Noel is super excited and not at all nervous about her surgery. Jazz revealed that after her surgery, she feels more connected to her body and is definitely more comfortable. She also hopes that her friend feels the same way when her surgery is done. 

While they do some punches together, Noelle reveals that Jazz has been the motivator for her. Jazz is absolutely certain about helping out her friend and she is not going to sit idle. She knows that the lack of money is holding her friend back from undergoing gender confirmation surgery for a long time. 

Noelle revealed that her insurance didn’t cover it. So, jazz decided to step up and do a drag show to raise money for her friend. The drag show was successful but unfortunately, they weren’t able to reach the required amount for the surgery. She even organized a GFM campaign in case her fans were kind enough to chip in.

I Am Jazz: Jazz Took a Step Further

Since the GoFundMe and the drag show wasn’t enough, Jazz decided to make a video of her song and release it. To ensure that the video gets many views, she dressed up as a drag queen and gave her best in that performance. Finally, her efforts paid off and they reached their goal amount. 

Jazz decided to gave Noelle the good news in person. She told her to check the fundraiser and informed about reaching their target. The really needed the extra dollars for the surgery and Jazzz’s efforts got them through. Noelle broke down into tears when she heard the news. In her confessional, she said that she is grateful to have a friend like Jazz in her life.
