Little People Big World: Amy Roloff Feels Relieved After Making Her Big Move
Amy Roloff is feeling like she can see the light at the end of the tunnel as she almost winds up moving her stuff from the farm to her new house. Shifting the stuff from her basement was hard as it reminded her of how much she loves to teach. Amy couldn’t take it all with her as she thinks of donating some of the teaching stuff for a better cause.
Amy expressed her love for reading as she took some extra books. She also stated that she would love to read as much as possible to her grandkids.
Amy’s Struggle With The move To Her New House
Amy previously mentioned about the struggle she was undergoing with moving to her new place. She bought the new house after selling her portion of the farm to Matt for $667,000. Fortunately, her fiance Chris, who is also a real estate broker helped her find a new place in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Amy made the purchase in September 2019 and the couple plans to live together in that house. Even though Amy no longer lives on the land she raised her children on, it’s just a 10-15 minute drive from the Roloff farms to her house.

Amy has been an incredible inspiration for people who are struggling to move on from something in their life. Considering that there are so many memories attached to the Roloff farms, the move couldn’t have been easy for the reality TV star. But Amy is moving on in her life with Fiance Chris Marek who supports her in all her endeavors.
Not only that, her love for teaching is going to come in handy for the future generations of the Roloff family. Audrey and Tori would love to take some nursery books for their toddlers. Plus, Amy has plenty of room in her new house so that her family can visit her anytime they want.

Amy was devastated when things started to fall apart with Matt. According to what she wrote in her memoir, Matt was going beyond friendship with a farm manager and things started to unravel after that. Eventually, the couple got divorced after being married for decades.
Amy then met Chris at a pool party. They got some drinks and he invited her to go on a ride with him. They started hitting it off and going on road trips together. Eventually, Chris proposed Amy with a heart-shaped diamond ring he thought she would love. And of course, she did!
Even though this has been hard on Amy, she and Matt are on amicable terms now. In fact, when she got engaged, he commented that he was happy for her. Amy has also moved on with her new love and doesn’t feel the need to talk much about Matt right now.
