After Amy’s mother’s tragic demise in September, her world never remained the same. Even though she was content that her mother lived a full life, Amy was heartbroken from her mom’s death. Little People Big World: Amy’s Mom Patricia Knight Died At The Age of 86
Patricia was admitted to the hospital for months before she took her last breath. Amy stated that she is deeply saddened by her mother passing away. However, she is also grateful for the fond memories she left for Amy to cherish.
She is also happy about the fact that her mom got to live a happy life with her dad. The episode was shot at the time Amy got hit with the news of her mom’s demise. It came out of a sudden and the LPBW star had to fly immediately to Michigan to be with the rest of her family. Amy attended her memorial service and stated that her mom was 86 years old when she passed away.
The health issues were accelerating and it turned out that her heart started to give up. Patricia always wanted to boast off to her friends that she saw her great-grandkids. Amy was happy that her mom was able to spend some quality time with all of them. Amy described last summer as one of the best times of her life.
Little People Big World: Amy Wanted Some More Time For Her Mom
Even though Amy is happy that her mom got to be with the kids and her grandkids, she wished that Patricia had some more time with them. She started to tear up and thought of that as a reminder for her own life.
In less than 15 days before her mom’s death, Amy got engaged to her fiance Chris Marek. At the time her mom passed away, she was experiencing conflicting emotions. But she sounded off by saying that all that matters is that the majority of them are happy emotions.
Little People Big World: Amy Spending Quality Time With Her Parents
When her mom’s health started to deteriorate, Amy decided that she wanted to spend some quality time with her parents. So, she flew to Michigan after they admitted her mom to the hospital. She also shared a smiling picture of herself and her parents in front of her house. Amy also gave a message to her followers.
She said that life is precious and we should all make the most out of these moments.
