Amy shared a sweet post with her father sitting together on the porch under the sunshine. She wrote that she had some wonderful moments in the last few days with her father. Amy hinted at the picture and talked about a happy conversation she had with him. She further added that Gordon is 91 and drove all the way to meet Chris and the rest of the family. She thanked her father for being able to be with her and doing well after her mom passed away a year ago. Amy signed off by saying that she loves her dad.
Amy Remembers Her Mother, Looks Back On How Her Parents Blessed Her On Engagement
Last year in October, Amy remembered her mother after she passed away. She shared that she stayed a bit longer in Michigan for her father to adjust to this loss. She said that although you don’t feel like or want to move on, you must because it’s important. Amy subtly hinted at her father’s way of adjusting to this massive change. However, on his wife’s death anniversary, he drove all the way from Michigan to meet his daughter and her fiance.
Around the time of her engagement with Chris, Amy mentioned in her interview with Hollywood Life that her father liked Chris. He gave the couple blessings and wished for their good future. Further, Amy said that she is glad that her mom was alive then to see that her daughter is going to be okay.
After Amy shared the lovely father-daughter duo post on Instagram, her fans flocked to the comments section and poured their love. One of them said that 91c is the new 75 and blessed the family.
