Ever since the new season of Love Island Games was announced, the audience could not hold their excitement back. Love Island Games: Here’s A Quick Recap Of Season 2 Premiere Episode

Love Island Games season 2 has finally started. The show started with Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray (Love Island USA season 5) and Andrea Carmona (Love Island USA season 6) walking into the villa together. The first two contestants took a brief look at the villa once again. The girls went up to Soul Ties and joked about Kay Kay’s iconic ‘Soul Ties is Crazy’ moment. Soon after, Andriena Santos from Love Island USA season 7 entered the Villa.

​She also revealed that she was in contact with other contestants from previous franchises. Santos further added that Tyrique Hyde (Love Island UK Season 10) interests her the most. Speaking of him, he was the next islander to step inside the villa, accompanied by Lucinda Strafford from Love Island UK season 5. As soon as he entered, Andriena and he started flirting. “There was only one person I actually wanted to see, and that’s Andreina,” Tyrique confessed.

​Moving ahead, Kendall Washington from Love Island USA season 6 and Isaiah Campbell from Love Island USA season 4 walked inside the villa. After them, Garbi Denteh and Mert Okatan from Love Island Netherlands & Belgium season 4 and 2, respectively, entered the villa. With them, Nicla Gauci Broda-Warr (Love Island Malta season 1) also stepped in. And at last, Josh Goldstein from Love Island USA season 3 and Chris Seeley from Love Island USA season 7 walked into the villa. 

Josh left the season in between because of his sister’s ultimate passing. He said, “I wouldn’t be sitting here, right now, in front of you if it weren’t for my sister encouraging me to sign up.” The first challenge of the season was a game of ‘Gladiator.’ Every contestant had suited up in skimpy versions of Roman combatant armor and helmets. Two of them competed at the same time, running to a column display after crossing all the obstacles to rescue the islander they wanted to save. 

The female contestants competed first, choosing their male partner from those they had selected earlier. Garbi and Chris were the fastest pair to finish the task and got to pick their couple first. ​The two decided not to couple. In episode one, Garbi coupled up with Kendall, whereas Chris chose Kay Kay. Additionally, Andrea and Josh paired up, and Tyrique decided to partner up with Andriena.
