Additionally, another follower noted that the social media engagement of this season is nothing like that of Love Island USA season 7, which could be a possible reason.

Sydney Paight, who recently entered Love Island Games season 2 as a bombshell, shocked everyone. Especially her ex, Isaiah Campbell—the couple dated after being part of season 7 of the USA franchise of the show. While their love didn’t last forever, their destinies have put them face-to-face again. Both contestants will be trying to find a new partner and win the show. But before that, Isaiah had made some shocking revelations about their breakup.

Initially, everyone thought that their long-distance relationship might have caused issues, which is why the couple parted ways. Sydney lives in Los Angeles, whereas Campbell lives in Florida. But it seems there is more to it. Isaiah gave an interview back in late 2024. On the Forever Unemployed Podcast, the 24-year-old star revealed that the tables had turned for the couple. Isaiah admitted he blacked out after drinking alcohol at a friend’s birthday bash. He further added that all he remembered from that night was getting into an Uber. The next morning, when he got up, there were several missed calls from Sydney.

He further added that his then-girlfriend sent him a video where he was kissing another woman at the party. Campbell revealed that the video caused the bitterness in their relationship, and after that, Sydney said goodbye to him. He recalled, “We’re done, you’re a liar,” Paight saying to him. The peacock star futher added that there was nothing else, as he too was figuring things out in the first place. All he was trying to do was to console her feelings and try to understand where she was coming from. “I was crying. I was crying all day,” he admitted.

Isaiah further added that he does not blame Sydney for his behaviour. While he wanted to put everything back where it was, his ex-girlfriend wanted to resolve the issues face-to-face. Unfortunately, he couldn’t afford the flight tickets, and later their relationship ended. However, he asked all his fans to continue showing their love and support to Sydney, rather than to him. He said that if the fans are going to pick sides, they should choose hers, as he would have done the same thing if she did what he did to her.
