LPBW: Audrey Reveals Story Of Labor With Son Bode, She Got Stuck In The Traffic

Since Audrey conceived little Bode, she has updated Little People Big World fans on her entire journey. She did the same when she was pregnant with little Ember. However, in Bode’s case, Audrey recalls that she went into labor and had to spend some time in traffic. The former reality TV star also went on to say that Jeremy might have even run a few red lights. Let’s take a look at this in detail.

Little People Big World: Was Bode Being Born In The Car Was a Real Possibility?

Audrey rushed to the hospital after her mom arrived. They rushed into the traffic straight, and Zach almost runs a few red lights. For about 25 minutes, she labored in their truck. Audrey was having lots of consistent Braxton Hicks contractions during the time Bode was due.

Audrey later breathed out a sigh of relief when they reached the hospital in time. She was grateful that little Bode wasn’t born in the car. When they reached the hospital, she was 8 cm dilated, and everything happened fast. 

Audrey gave birth to Bode at 7:36 PM on 1/8/2020. Bode was born on time at 9.2 pounds, 21 inches. The couple previously stated that they want a big family. At the time, Ember was the only child. Jeremy stated that even though they are taking one at a time, they are not going to put a number on the kids they might have in the future.

When Audrey held Bode for the first time, she felt an overwhelming rush of feelings and emotions. Even Jeremy took to social media to share some more candid pictures from the day of Bode’s birth.

She went to the doctor for her 40-week appointment on January 8 in the morning. She was 3 cm dilated, but there were no signs of labor. However, she had a feeling that Bode was low and was going to come out anytime now. But since Ember was about 12 days late, they thought that would be the case with Bode too. At about 4 PM, Audrey felt like the pattern for her contractions was becoming more and more precise with a gap of four minutes between them. 

As a precaution, she started packing her hospital bag and told Jeremy that the feeling is painful enough and that there is a chance that the baby might come on his due date. As the stars would have it, Bode was indeed born on his due date, and the parents couldn’t be happier.
