Giving an example from Season 4, the Redditor said Amy always used to disagree with Matt even if he had some valid points. In the older season, Matt talked to Amy about their kid’s falling grades. He said they needed to do better in school and asked what was happening with them. However, Amy suddenly got defensive and busted out on him. However, in the next scene, she received a call from the school. They informed her that the kids had missed a lot of classes. Amy says, “Man, these kids need to do better in school.”
