He expressed that he’s coming out after all these years because the traumatic memory needs to be exorcised of any power over Jacob’s development. The post was very sensitive as he talks about his experience of going through such a tragic event. However, the post was both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time due to how the 24-year-old talks about the incident.
While the molestation allegation was quite shocking for TLC viewers, it was also new to the Roloff family. Matt opened about the incident to Alec Lace in an interview on his channel First Class Fatherhood. He revealed that the entire family only got to know about the incident just days before Jacob’s public announcement. This was through a text from him on the family group texts.
