The 22nd season of TLC’s long-running show Little People Big World is finally on air. A brand new episode aired on Tuesday, highlighting Amy’s upcoming marriage to fiance Chris Marek. The Roloff family is dealing with a lot of issues this season, including health issues and more. On the other hand, Matt Roloff recently uploaded a picture of the entire family on his social media. They all looked pretty happy together despite issues running in the lives. A lot of people are still unaware that the family lost a crucial member. Here’s everything we can tell you about it.
Little People Big World: Matt Roloff Lost A Crucial Member Of His Family!
The Roloffs are a big happy family. They started featuring on the TLC show back in 2006, and a lot of things have changed in their lives. For starters, when the viewers first met them, there were only Matt and Amy, along with their four young children. As of today, the kids have all grown up, and each one of them is married. In fact, some of them also have children of their own now. However, a lot of people still don’t that this huge family lost someone very close to them.
Back in the day, Matt Roloff revealed that he had a brother called Josh. As per the report by RadarOnline, he was two years younger than the TLC celebrity and was born with an obstruction affecting his heart and lungs. In fact, Matt revealed in his book “Tall Odds: Being A David In A Goliath World” in 2017 that he had a complicated birth. In fact, the doctors weren’t even sure that Josh will survive more than a day. However, fortunately, he did survive and lived until his untimely death at 34 years old.
Josh Roloff underwent multiple surgeries in his life and had several close calls with death. Eventually, doctors discovered that his condition could not be fixed. He passed away in 1999 and, to date, remains in the memories of his entire family. As per RadarOnline, the family said on the show that “We all miss you and think of you every day, and we look forward to being reunited with you one day in the presence of our Lord.”
Little People Big World: Roloff Kids Facing Health Problems
Both Amy and Matt Roloff have dwarfism, and their son Zach inherited achondroplasia from his mom. Later on, when Zachery became a father, his kids Jackson and Lilah were both born with achondroplasia as well. Like their father and grandparents, the children are also facing some health issues due to the disorder. In the new season of Little People Big World, fans will see Zach and his wife Tori discussing the need for them to undergo corrective surgeries.
Jackson’s legs have started to bow, due to which he might face issues in walking. Hence, he needs surgery for that. On the other hand, Lilah is struggling with some issues in her eyes. Tori revealed that she’s getting cross-eyed and might need spectacles or even surgery. Fans are hoping that they get well soon and have been showering their parents with best wishes and love.
