In an interview with InTouch, Mama June shared how she’s helping Geno amid his weight loss. She said that the couple cooks together and eats together. The secret lies in the fact that they try to eat as much as possible together. The 41-year-old reality star further added that Geno is doing good for himself. Additionally, she asks him not to look at the numbers on the scale. She only insists on eating healthy and not to focus much on shedding weight. Geno loves to have ‘salad’ while the couple gorges on eggs.
June Shannon Shares Personal Goal Of Shedding 70 Pounds
June Shannon has shared her personal goal of losing around 70 pounds. After gaining a great amount of weight during the pandemic, she wanted to lose it all. June revealed relying on gluten-free and staying dairy-free. Apart from this, as others suggest, she tries to stay away from bread and pasta. June also spilled that she doesn’t eat a lot so putting on weight ended up surprising her.
June talked about dealing with difficult situations in coping with her routine after rehab. She said that things are shutting down in South Florida. With a surge in COVID 19 patients, there are more restrictions. So, all she can do is something on her own or walk down the beach.

The fans might recall that June agreed to go to rehab during the last season of the show. After months of living with addiction, it was hard for her to get her life back on track. In an interview with Sober Nation, the mom of four got candid about going into rehab. She shared that Geno stopped her from doing drugs initially. However, later, the couple started doing it again and it went down the spiral.
In 2019, they were arrested for the possession of crack cocaine. After this, the information of June selling her daughter’s car, her home, her jewelry, only to buy more drugs, came to light. Although she was not ready for it, WEtv forced June to go into rehab. Further, Geno persuaded her to do it and they together worked on themselves.
