Mama June Shannon is now nine months sober and living a sorted life. We know she’s residing in Florida with Geno for their weight loss procedures. Along with that, the couple is involved in helping others to combat their drug addiction. With that being said, Shannon is now feeling a wave of new change within herself. It appears that the reality star, who is proud of her sobriety, is happy about having a ‘new mindset.’ She looks forward to experiencing ‘new changes.’

June Shannon took to Instagram stories and shared her thoughts recently. The 41-year-old reality star shared a powerful quote that talks about new things. It read – “New month, new beginning, new start, new mindset, new focus, new intentions, new results.” She further added how this quote stands true for her each day. June also revealed that she has been nine months sober and ended the post with a hashtag – #inspirationfortheday.

Mama June Returns With New Season Next Year

June Shannon updated her fans about returning with the new season soon. Just the last month, she revealed that she would be appearing on the screens following her tryst with crack addiction and arrest. In a Q&A session with her social media fans, June spilled the beans about the production of Mama June: Family Tragedy. The show is set to hit the screens sometime next year.

June Shannon’s Struggle With Drug Addiction

We know June has been in neck-deep problem owing to her drug addiction. She is dealing with the same since the last season of the show. June and her boyfriend, Geno, hit the rock bottom after they were arrested in March 2019 for the possession of crack cocaine and a crack pipe. Geno was also charged for domestic violence. Reportedly, the couple spent around $150,000 in six months on the controlled substance, crack cocaine. However, things slowly fell into a better place after they enrolled in a rehab facility in Florida. Now they are almost nine months sober and happy.

Just the past week, June shared her thoughts on her sobriety at a rehab centre. Apparently, she is proud of her little achievement and is happy about getting back on track. She said that she is back to her good old self. One can take a day at a time and improve things, she added. Meanwhile, her daughter Lauryn is taking care of her youngest, Honey Boo Boo. Mama June is also mother to daughters Anna, 26, and Jessica, 23.
