Although the network hasn’t confirmed anything, June’s sister Doe Doe appeared to confirm the news to a fan on Instagram. Recently, June Shannon’s sister Doe Doe hit 100k followers on Instagram. A follower asked her if there will be a season 5 of the show. She happily announced that there will be one, with a ‘yes!’
It’s Been Seven Months Of Geno And June Shannon’s Sobriety
June Shannon and her boyfriend, Geno Doak, were arrested in Alabama for possession of crack cocaine. However, they pleaded guilty to felony drug possession last fall. The two have recently wrapped up their rehab stint. It’s been seven months of their sobriety and June is definitely happy about this. The couple admitted to spending $150,000 in six months on crack cocaine. June Shannon is still estranged from four daughters – Anna, Jessica, Pumpkin, and Alana. Currently, she is headed to Beverly Hills for some weight removal surgery.
June Shows Off Blinged Clip Celebrating Six Months Of Staying Clean
In early August, Mama June showed off her blinged six-month sobriety chip on Instagram for all her fans to see. She shared a video clip on Instagram showing off the chip. Reportedly, her manager sent it to her celebrating six months of her sobriety. June Shannon thanked her manager and Geno who is also getting sober. She is very proud of herself and Geno for over six months clean now!
Mama June: A Relapse In Offing, Family Therapist Says
Despite the couple getting sober, the family’s therapist had a different narrative. He said that a ‘relapse’ is in the offing. He shared that Relapse is a part of recovery and that he is sure that it is coming. According to his suspicions, there will be a relapse soon. The couple’s recovery has been slow and fragile. Hence, he added that ‘Relapse is happening, it’s coming. We know that. Three weeks, three months, six months, it’s happening.’
