TLC star Whitney Thore, known for her show My Big Fat Fabulous Life, has lost a significant 100 pounds and is looking incredible in her new look. On September 1, she shared a picture from a System of a Down concert in Chicago, where she looked unbelievable. She was wearing a black top with sheer details, leather shorts, and sheer stockings. Whitney’s pure joy on her face gathered attention from her fans.
In no time, Whitney’s fans flooded her picture with compliments, calling her “gorgeous” and “incredible.” They also celebrated her long-awaited experience. Whitney started filming for the show in 2015 at 385 pounds. She has maintained her weight loss without surgery and said she has learned to focus on the positive impacts she has had on her fans, ignoring all the negativity.
During the Season 13 finale of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Whitney Thore was asked by her friend, Ashley Baynes, about possibly taking GLP-1 injections like Ozempic and Wegovy. Baynes shared a personal story: “My cousin… was trying to have kids and could not.” Baynes said, “Then she got on the GLP-1 just for weight loss, dropped 40 pounds like that. And then I found out she was pregnant and had to stop real quick because she didn’t get on it to get pregnant.”

Reflecting on this, Thore explained that with PCOS, she deals with hormonal imbalances, weight issues, and fertility problems. She said GLP-1s are supposed to help with that and also lower inflammation. All of this sounds exciting and interesting, Whitney stated. Adding honesty about the complex emotions involved, Thore mused, “Does that make me a traitor to body positivity? I don’t know. But life is too short not to pursue what I want in any way that I see fit.”
Whitney shared that she wouldn’t take a GLP-1 medication just to lose weight, saying, “Would I consider taking a GLP-1 just to lose weight? Probably not.” But when it comes to her chances of becoming pregnant, she was much more open, admitting, “Would I consider a GLP-1 if it could help me get pregnant? Yeah. Yeah, I definitely would.”
While Thore has yet to confirm using GLP-1 medication publicly, Whitney’s unfiltered approach sparked a wave of supportive responses from fans. They praised her bravery and celebrated her recent weight loss, shared on social media. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for further updates.
