My 600 Lb Life: Annjeanette Whaley Sues Megalomedia, 8th Lawsuit Against The Company

My 600 Lb Life alum Anjeanette reconciled with Erica. We saw a rerun of her episode back in December last year. More news came about her in Where are they now. However, the reality TV star has filed a lawsuit against the production company Megalomedia. So far, the firm is facing its eighth lawsuit. Let’s take a look at what it’s all about this time.

My 600 Lb Life: Anjeanette’s Lawsuit and The Reason Behind It

Anjeanette weighed 679 pounds when she first starred on My 600 Lb Life in 2019. Even though she was suffering from morbid obesity, the reality TV star didn’t lack the determination and the desire to make a positive change in her life. However, it turned out that she might have been hiding her real snack times and what she ate. This resulted in a spat with Erica. However, now fans are happy since the news of reconciliation came through.

Anjeanette is the eighth cast member to file a lawsuit against the famous production company Megalomedia. It seems like the firm is in real danger. She joins the list of many others who claim that the company is not living up to what they promised earlier. She claims that the company promised to pay all the associated bills of Dr. Now’s care. However, they didn’t live up to it and that has left many stars in financial debt.

My 600 Lb Life: What About The Other Cast Members?

LB Bonner and David Bolton’s lawsuits gained the most hype on social media. Unfortunately, due to excessive emotional trauma, Bonner committed suicide. His family filed a lawsuit stating that the company didn’t pay the medical bills as promised. The bill collectors later came to Bonner and hounded him to pay the bills.

Megalomedia also replied to this lawsuit stating that they are saddened by the passing away of LB Bonner. But they also stated very clearly that the claims his family has made are false. And in no way, are they responsible for the reality TV star’s death.

David Bolton accused the company of taking advantage of the situation and racking up the drama besides not covering medical costs. According to him, they focused on amping up the ratings with no regard for the welfare of the contestants involved. He also said that it took a toll on his mental health, just like Anjeanette claimed.
