Naked And Afraid participant Sarah Danser took her last breath after a tragic car accident. She was in the car when it smashed in Hawaii. Following the crash, she was immediately rushed into the hospital due to her critical condition. However, after two days, she was pronounced dead by doctors. Naked And Afraid: Who Was Sarah Danser?

Sarah Danser was a survivalist, boat captain, scuba diver, and a self-proclaimed “pirate”. She starred in Discovery’s Naked and Afraid in 2017 as a regular contestant. Later, the reality TV star was also part of the show’s spinoff, called Naked and Afraid XL, in 2018. In 2023, she appeared on her last reality show, Fight to Survive, on the CW network. 

Sarah’s homeland was Castle Rock, Colorado but she lived in Hawaii for nearly 12 years. She used to stay on a Kewalo Basin boat on a part-time basis and was globally famous for adventures. The sar enjoyed traveling and had the positive energy which her brother, Jake Danser, described as “magical”. For him, her sister could fill any environment with her magical spirit.

Naked And Afraid: What Exactly Happened During Sarah’s Car Crash?

On Sunday, October 20, the 34-year-old Sarah Danser from Naked And Afraid took a ride as a passenger in a car in the night. According to Honolulu police, a 59-year-old man was driving the car in the Kahala neighborhood eastbound. Soon, he lost control and collided with a parked vehicle nearby. 

Despite putting on her seatbelt, the accident led to severe injury. Sarah’s brother and father arrived at the hospital on Tuesday. They said that she was wearing bandanas, scarves, and lei at the time of her death, gifted to her by her friends. When talking about the reason for the crash, the police cited “speed” as the actual factor. 

They mentioned that the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, causing him to be seriously injured. Apart from Sarah and the driver, there were two other people in the parked area who were affected by the collision. While the woman was in critical condition, the man didn’t undergo any treatment. 

On October 22, Sarah succumbed to her injuries, as informed by her father, Dan Danser. Her father also revealed how brave Sarah was as she had fought breast cancer. Even her Naked and Afraid co-star, Melissa Lauren, posted her memories with the master diver. According to her, Sarah was a fierce survivalist and inspiring breast cancer survivor.
