But once, a seller got him a pair of handcuffs made in 1995. Rick never lets go of a great artifact, but for some reason, he hated those handcuffs, and he disliked them more after trying them on. But even more interesting is what happened when the seller heard the price of that item; he almost fainted. Why? Keep reading to know why!

A user took it to Reddit and wrote that Corey Harrison, son of Rick Harrison, seems to have a bad attitude towards the clients. The user wrote, “Why is Corey always miserable he Seems to hate the customer he low balls all of them.” The further joked that if Corey ever smiles, his face will explode.
Adding to the thread, another user commented, “He could be a very sour guy, or he grew up bargaining and has a great poker face.” Another fan added, “I think he just has a dry personality as a fat guy and maybe is sort of uncomfortable on camera.” A fourth user stated, “My problem with Corey from the start is that he seemed never to look someone in the eye, even when (especially when) shaking hands on a deal.”
Every Pawn Stars fan knows that Rick Harrison is crazy about collecting rare and antique artifacts. But there was this one time when he hated an artifact. Things got even crazier when the item’s price shocked the seller. One time, a seller brought in a pair of handcuffs that someone had made in 1925. As he had no experience with handcuffs, he called an expert to inspect them. The expert stated that he spent most of his adult life working as a locksmith. Looking at the handcuffs, Rick questioned, “What the hack are those things? They’re like really disturbing.”

The engraved date helped the seller confirm that someone had made the handcuffs in 1925. The expert, Mark, revealed that manufacturers produced only a few items like these before discontinuing them. He then identified them as ‘McKenzie Mitts.’ He continued, explaining that authorities used handcuffs on prisoners.
But no one could force them onto someone against their will. The manufacturers crafted them from strong steel. And once locked, they could serve as a deadly weapon capable of killing someone with ease. If the prisoner wearing these handcuffs had to go to the washroom, it was the guard’s duty to help the prisoner and perform the unsanitary job.
When Mark asked about the seller’s purchase price, he was shocked to learn that the item had been bought for $100 as a gag gift for his daughter’s boyfriend. As an expert, he knew that at any auction, the handcuffs would have cost around $3,500 to $4,000. The guest was equally surprised to hear that. “The moment I heard the expert say they were worth $3,500, I almost fainted,” the seller added.
Later, when the expert left, it was time to negotiate. The seller initially asked for $3,500 but then lowered his price to $2,500. But Rick, being Rick, wanted to buy the disturbing item for even a lower price. So, he presented $1,600 for it. Later, both of them agreed on $2,000, and Rick brought the item he hated at first sight. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoiler for more Pawn Stars updates and tea.
