Did the seller accept the offer, or did Rick miss out once again? Keep reading to find out.

Rick Harrison handles collectibles in unconventional ways at his pawn shop. In one episode, a seller surprised Rick and the fans by bringing in a business card that belonged to John Wesley Harding, a notorious Wild West outlaw turned lawyer. The seller asked Harrison to break the glass casing to verify its authenticity.
Rick was skeptical initially as the car was in intact, pristine condition. Here, in expert Mark Hall Patton, who confirmed the size and details matched the period, but still couldn’t confirm it without opening the glass. With careful hands, Harrison smashed the glass while keeping the card intact. Rick offered $350 if it proved authentic. Hall-Patton, 80% sure of its genuineness, praised the find and said he’d proudly display it in his museum.
The Pawn Stars Pawn Shop Owner, Rick Harrison, has recently come across a veniutage collective that got Rick excited. In the episode, Rick and his sidekick, Chumlee, visited Ed’s home to see the 1940s Indian motorcycle. He said, “It’s a cool bike, but since Steve McQueen owned it, it makes it that much more.” The seller, Ed, confirmed that Steve had driven the bike decades ago and that his father had bought it at an actor’s estate sale. He also presented a certificate of authenticity.
Rick has always admired McQueen. He also discusses how the actor always performed his stunts in The Great Escape. Still, the bike displayed visible damage. The motorcycle had chips and had caught fire once, and no one had run it in six years. He admitted that the damage could affect its resale value, while making the negotiation more complicated.
Despite the damage, Rick offered Ed a fair price. He suggested $70,000, as he will incur the repair cost and the potential auction price of $100,000. Ed countered it with $130,000 but later held firm at $100,000.Rick tried to increase his bid to $85,000, but Ed refused.
Near the end, the deal didn’t go through. “I can’t let it go for that; it means too much to me,” Ed told Harrison. The episode showed how high the stakes of collectible celebrity items are, but also highlighted the sentimental value these items hold for their owners.
