It’s been a few months since the recent season of Pawn Stars was released. Earlier this month, Season 23 began and concluded in April. As of now, there is no official announcement about Season 24. Rick Harrison also revealed that they are no longer under a contract with the History Channel.
While everyone’s waiting for the new season, Corey Harrison won’t be a part of the show. Earlier, he revealed that he has moved on from the show and is looking forward to a better future. He clarified that the show remains active and is officially on hiatus, not cancelled. However, as of now, there is no official announcement.
In an episode, a customer named AI received a check signed by a mafia member, and Pawn Stars boss Rick Harrison became intrigued when he heard the name Gambino. Rick added, “Usually, I don’t buy stuff from guys like this because the guy was a murderer, you know.” Harrison then asked the customer about how he got the check. He revealed that it was a gift. AI further added that he is someone who collects a lot of Mafia memorabilia, including mob-related items.

He then continues, telling Rick that he is looking forward to getting a thousand dollars for the particular item. Furthermore, Harrison spoke about the mafia and added, “Sicilian mobster who came to New York City in the 1920s and created a national crime syndicate.” Rick then grew concerned about the item’s authenticity. He called a forensic document examiner to look at the check.
After examining the item, the expert said, “Well, I see we have the name Carlo Gambino. Also, it looks like that’s George Schiller.” He explained that Schiller was a partner of Carlo and a Russian businessman, but not officially part of the mob. He noted that for certain collectors, the check holds a lot of value. The examiner then continued and explained that a company fronting for Gambino’s operation had issued the check.
“I’ve studied Carlo Gambino’s signature. There’s a lotta things we’re gonna look for,” he added. After taking a closer look at the signature, the examiner confirmed its full authenticity. When Rick asked about its value, the examiner estimated it could be worth over $1000. Once the examiner left, Rick negotiated the price. AI asked for $800, but Harrison managed to cut the price down to $400. After some bargaining, they closed the deal at $500. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for all Pawn Stars updates.
