RHOBH fame Teddi Mellencamp has given her fans some great news. The 44-year-old star announced that her stage four cancer is gone. A few years ago, doctors diagnosed her with melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer. Earlier this year, she added that her cancer has progressed to stage four.

The reality TV star revealed that doctors found her cancer to be ‘undetectable’ after several scans and tests. She also shared that they had given her a 50-50 chance of survival, since the disease had spread to her lungs and brain. In 2022, RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp announced her melanoma diagnosis. In an Instagram post, she shared that doctors had removed a mole from her back after suspecting it was melanoma. A few months later, the doctors found another spot and did a biopsy. Doctors later confirmed that the mole was melanoma. After the doctors ran several tests, many moles on her body turned out to be cancerous.

There were numerous spots in one area, so the doctors were scrupulous and cautious during the surgery. In late 2022, she revealed that her surgery was successful, and the pathology showed no signs of genetic mutations. She underwent another surgery in December 2023, and by 2024, doctors confirmed they had removed her melanoma. However, in 2025, they disclosed that her tumor had returned and had been growing for six months.

In early 2025, Teddi revealed that doctors had hospitalized her in February and, after scans and tests, diagnosed her with several brain tumors that had been growing for at least six months. Later, she posted a video showing herself shaving her head. That same month, surgeons removed two of her tumors.

Another scan revealed additional tumors, including two in her lungs, which doctors did not remove. They suspected the cancer had metastasized from melanoma. In April, they confirmed her cancer had progressed to stage four. Now, Mellencamp has shared that she underwent immunotherapy, and a follow-up scan showed no signs of cancer. In a podcast, she spoke about her latest health update.

“I still need to be on immunotherapy for another year, and I’m not considered in remission or anything like that,” she added. She said the news of her cancer’s positive development left her numb with shock. Teddi further added, “So I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I am still in immunotherapy, so I’m still fighting because you have to be.” She said that doctors said that the therapy works. “It’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered…in remission,” she added.

Teddi said that it was huge news. She also added that all her tumors are still shrinking, and it is a good day. Teddi also added that back in June, she took a break so her body could regain its strength. At that time, she also revealed that the treatment has some side effects.
