Volunteers actively participate, building a sense of purpose and working together as a team.
Over the years, Project Angel Good has also conducted workshops to teach computer skills and vocational training for youth and women. Volunteers and local groups team up to give help, advice, and support to people who need it most. Apart from the quick help, they also provide tools and methods to help people stand on their own. Caring deeply while providing real help is what makes Project Angel Good so inspiring.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Kathy Hilton and Oscar-nominated star Jennifer Tilly joined hands to raise nearly $950,000 for Project Angel Food. This marked the most successful Angel Awards Gala since 2019. The event took place at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Jennifer Tilly, a longtime supporter and volunteer of Project Angel Food, was honored with the Angel Award. Cedars-Sinai received the Leadership in Love Angel Award, presented by Variety’s Marc Malkin and accepted by CEO Peter L. Slavin, MD.

Tilly admitted that she received the award on behalf of the behind-the-scenes staff and volunteers at Project Angel Food. She lauded the drivers responsible for delivering the meals. “I think emotional sustenance is just as important as the food you eat.” The award was presented to her by Hilton.
Slavin from Cedars-Sinai said he and his team were happy to accept the award. He thanked their colleagues at Project Angel Food for “the heroic work they do” to meet the needs of thousands in the community. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring they receive the necessary nutrition to lead healthy lives. Loni Love, Caroline Rhea, “Wings” co-stars Steven Weber and Amy Yasbeck, Charo, and Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub also appeared on stage.
“What we learned this year is that fires can destroy buildings, but they can’t destroy the human spirit,” Ayoub said. The program began with a performance by Belinda Carlisle of The Go-Go’s. Celebrity auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla conducted the live auction. Other guests included Cheryl Tiegs, Kirsten Vangsness, L.A. County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, Michael Corbett, Mike Stoller, Shannon K, and Stuart O’Keeffe. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for all the latest updates.
