RHOBH star Denise Richards’ husband has been released on a $200,000 bail. Authorities arrested him on Friday afternoon on spousal abuse charges. The judge issued his apprehension amidst the court hearing on Friday. Aaron Phypers additionally claimed that he had been set up by his estranged wife and her lawyers. New information came to light when his cousin testified against him in court.
The divorce saga began in July when Phypers filed for divorce, claiming spousal support. Following this, Denise filed for a restraining order against her ex on the grounds of domestic abuse. Aaron refuted those claims vehemently. The judge granted the actress a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband following that. Things got ugly when Phypers distributed Richards’ private photos, and his own cousin testified against him.

First, RHOBH husband, Phypers, filed for divorce in July from actress Denise Richards and also requested spousal support. Second, Richards files for a temporary restraining order against Phypers, citing physical abuse claims. Notably, the judge offers her one. Third, Aaron’s attorney files a witness list including names like Charlie Sheen and Brandi Glanville. Fourth, RHOBH alumna Richards urges the court to change the temporary restraining order into a permanent one.
Additionally, she presents evidence supporting her claims. Fifth, Phypers refuted those claims, alleging that Denise had not followed the restraining order. Apparently, the actress called him up multiple times. Sixth, Denise alleges that Aaron is distributing her private photos, which she claims is the reason for her continuous calls. Seventh, Aaron’s own cousin testifies against him, finally leading to his arrest.
Earlier, last Friday night, authorities released RHOBH alumna Denise Richards’ ex-husband from jail on bail. Authorities posted the bail bonds at $200,000. Aaron’s smiling photo with the bondswoman shortly after his release went viral. The Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station released him on Friday night at 9:30 PM after his reps posted $200,000 bond. According to sources, authorities have charged him with four total counts of felony.

Michael Finley, Phypers’ attorney, has come forth with official statements. Previously, he made statements about ‘false accusations’ made by Denise and her team during his client’s arrest. “It appears to be the same allegations we’re already fighting and I think proving to be false in the domestic violence case,” he stated. “So, we expect it to also be proven false and for him to be exonerated,” he seemed hopeful about further proceedings.
His release has sparked public controversies on various online forums. Throughout his divorce battle, he has demanded spousal support as he apparently is out of money. He claimed to have ended up with no job prospects because of his estranged wife. Despite having ‘no money,’ he has been spotted at a lotto office, paying his ‘pricey’ team of lawyers, and even posting a $200,000 bail. It seems to the public eye that he’s doing just fine, financially on his own.
“I personally believe Aaron, and I don’t believe Denise or her witnesses,” Finley stated in his personal statement. Shortly after his release, Phypers’ photo with the bondswoman sparked public outrage online. For more such latest reality TV updates, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
