RHOBH Star Denise Richards Issues Petition For A Permanent Restraining Order Against Ex — Accuses Him Of ‘Crushing Her Head In’

Richards has filed for a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband on grounds of domestic violence. She seemed distraught as she appeared for a second hearing in a Los Angeles superior court. She is trying to get that temporary restraining order turned into a permanent one.

Aaron Phypers, on the other hand, has vehemently denied domestic violence accusations against himself, painting Richards as emotionally manipulative and dishonest. American household name Denise Richards and her ex-husband, Aaron Phypers, tied the knot back in 2018 in a beachfront wedding after their whirlwind romance. However, in the recent divorce battle, with shocking revelations emerging from both sides, public opinion is becoming increasingly fragmented.

Denise Richards’ ex-husband, Aaron Phypers, announced earlier this month his plans to call Charlie Sheen and Brandi Glanville to testify against Denise. Charlie Sheen, Denise’s ex-husband of 7 years, and RHOBH castmate Brandi Glanville are apparently two people whom Richards has wronged. Other witnesses reportedly include names like actress Kasia Wolejnio and counselor Wendy Bernacki. 

 “These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect. I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims,” he said to US Weekly, denying domestic violence claims against him. 

RHOBH: Denise Richards Wants Permanent Restraining Order

Denise Richards, during an emotional court hearing this Tuesday, testified about the years of abuse she faced from her ex-husband, urging the court to change the temporary restraining order against him into a permanent one. This particular LA Superior Court hearing yielded some earth-shattering revelations from Richards. The RHOBH alumna testified against Phypers, causing her to have “at least three concussions,” as reported by PEOPLE. She even accused her ex of consistent domestic abuse over the years of their marriage. 

Aaron took Denise to court after he filed for divorce from her on the grounds of infidelity. The latter denied any allegations of cheating against her. Thus started their very messy, public divorce. In this recent hearing, Richards testified in gory detail about various such ‘maniac’ episodes where Phypers abused her. She even presented medical and pictorial evidence to support her claims. She shunned her ex-husband in public, saying how she never expected him to turn out like this, as she thought he was her soulmate. 

One such altercation she described was after her various beauty surgeries. She explained in detail how he hit her and jammed her into the toilet seat. “He smashed me on the top of my head with the palm of his hand while screaming at me repeatedly, ‘Give me your f——— phone!” the actress added tearfully. I was disoriented from the surgery and was fearful he may seriously injure me, especially since I was recovering from a complex surgery, so I gave him my phone,” she later added.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages,” the actress added in the petition documents.
