RHOC: Gina’s Search For Proof & Tamra’s Struggles

Gina Kirschenheiter, the star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, has taken on the role of the group’s investigator this week. Gina contacted journalist Matthew Belloni to confirm whether Katie Ginella was the reason for the resurfacing of the Tamra “roofie” allegation. Journalist Belloni pointed directly at Katie, and it ignited tension among the members. When confronted with Katie, she completely denied the story. Gina and Gretchen grew completely frustrated and took no action without more proof.

Additionally, Tamra decided to exit the show.  She opened up about her past struggles. She admitted that in her trip to New Orleans, she mixed Xanax with alcohol. The celeb felt entirely isolated by her castmates at that time, and it completely impacted her mental health. Later, Jenn commented on it, saying, “And if she needs to go home and focus on herself, this is probably the smartest decision I’ve ever seen Tamra make.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 Episode 7: “The Truth Will Not Set You Free,” has brough a lot of drama and tension to the table. Katie’s denial of Gina’s accusation showed her anxiety. She denied having any involvement but later admitted that years ago, Slade Smiley told her husband Matt to make sure she stood firm against any claims Gretchen raised about being drugged. The admission raised many eyebrows among the cast members, and Katie implied that someone had manipulated her in the past.

Gretchen’s reaction was noticeable. She expressed doubts towards Katie but hesitated to cut ties entirely. Gretchen refused because she lacked full proof against Katie, leaving her uncertain about her loyalties. Jenn Pedranti also engaged in the drama. Katie said Jenn had once claimed she heard Gretchen admit to being drugged. Jenn firmly denied the allegation. This eventually led to division within the group, as their friendship had become complicated.
