So, this Sunday’s episode revealed a lot about Kody’s relationship with his wives. The episode revolved around the troubles of Meri and Kody mainly. But the new episode promo teased that another one of the wives is unhappy. This time around, it’s Christine who has opened up about the clashes in Kody and her relationship. She talked to the cameras about the time when she had a rough patch with her husband, Kody Brown.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Says “We’ve Had A Rough Relationship”
Christine revealed some considerable details of her past with Kody Brown. She says in the promo that they have had a rough relationship for a couple of years. The star was talking about a rough patch of years the two went through. To this, Kody added that plural marriage is a challenge that his wife Christine doesn’t really enjoy. “I’ll be frank, plural marriage is not a challenge that I enjoy” he said.
Christine and Kody got married in 1994, almost two and a half-decade ago. The two share six children together. However, all four Sister Wives relationships were tested in the time of pandemic as gatherings and visitings became a tedious chore. Even Kody is beginning to feel that polygamy is a difficult task, especially in the time of pandemic when he has to do all the traveling alone.
Kody Feels Immense Pressure Satisfying Everyone’s Emotional Needs
Amid all the drama and disappointments, Kody is also losing his calm this time. He expressed his side of the story, he said that he feels immense pressure all the time for satisfying the emotional needs of a wife that. He said that he sometimes has no interest in satisfying. About Meri, he revealed that he has a wife who he thinks will never be happy.
His mental state has now reached a breaking point. Talking to the cameras, he admitted that he’s questioning everyone in the family. Kody is also not getting married “benefits” from their marriage anymore. He thinks that all of his marriages are landsliding now, be it Meri or Christine, or Janelle.

Kody’s frustration with the marriage is evident by his recent statements now. He said that it makes him wonder if people who have been happy for so many years, couldn’t just leave and find something that made them happy. The husband mentioned that instead of sitting and blabbering about him and about how he is not doing things right anymore, they are just gossiping about it. He even went on to say that this is not what he wanted and this isn’t what he signed up for.
Kody said that what he would like instead of the drama is a big commitment that everybody would actually do their part and not have it just be him. The family patriarch added that they would instead not have it be blamed on him all the time. “Love really isn’t unconditional, nobody is stuck with me and they can all leave.” he said.
