Before, they visited Maddie Brown in North Carolina and Christine cleared that the children are learning things virtually and enjoying the ‘vacation’ time.

However, about two weeks ago, Monsters and Critics shared that Christine talked about taking a social media break before a ‘medical procedure.’ She added that she couldn’t reveal much because of her NDA with the network. But we assume that it’s Ysabel’s spine surgery that was also supposed to be filmed for the new season. Recently, Mykelti too, revealed the family’s NJ visit which perfectly aligns with other data.
We are already aware of Christine’s back and forth efforts at raising funds through LuLaRoe’s clothing. She said around that time that she badly needs money that would help her with some surgery. Although she didn’t reveal the name of her daughter who needs surgery, it most certainly has to be Ysabel. On top of that, the family is supposed to quarantine for days before and after the surgery. This is said to be the prime reason behind Kody not joining the family in NJ. It seems like the alternative therapy didn’t work for Ysabel and so she would have to go ahead with surgical correction.
