Maybe, in the worldwide lockdown, she wanted to get some attention she so badly desires. Anyway, her weird post attracted severe criticism from animal lovers and her fans alike.

A lot of people virtually slammed Christine for putting up such posts. The nasty comments went on piling up, so much so that the star had to delete the post. One follower said: “There’s not one animal I would have left behind.” Another wrote: “Every creature has a purpose, I couldn’t drown any living thing.”
The Reddit users, too, kept on discussing Christine’s fanaticism with drowning animals. One Reddit user wrote: “This is so weird…has a sadistic feel to it, like she wants to watch animals drown. And apparently butterflies, turtles, and ladybugs are the scourge of the Earth.”
