Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Family’s Killer Cult History Revealed in Public

Sister Wives fans have noticed that Christine prefers to keep the information about her family rather private. It turns out that there is a good reason why the third wife rarely talks about her family. Apparently, they used to have a connection with a killer cult. Let’s take a look.

Sister Wives: Christine’s Great Uncle Murdered her Grandfather

We know that since Christine herself was from a polygamous family, her marrying Kody wasn’t an unusual thing. However, one of Christine’s relatives said that she is not in contact with them now. Moreover, that’s not very likely to change. According to what Anna LeBaron told The Sun, her father, Ervil LeBaron, that is, Christine’s great uncle got her paternal grandfather Rulon Allred murdered.

Ervil had 13 wives and a total of 51 kids. He was also the fundamentalist Mormon group leader who believed that he was the prophet. He got anyone who tried to leave his cult killed including his wives or anyone else. To him, it was blood atonement. All he needed to do was give the order. He had a bunch of faithful followers who did the deed of killing the person he had a problem with.

Christine’s grandfather refused to join his cult and instead, started leading the Apostolic United Brethren, his own group. Since Ervil considered anyone else but him as a false prophet, he ordered his death. The tensions between the two separate polygamist cults were rising too. After his 13th wife shot Rulon, Ervil got a life sentence. Even though he died roughly after a year, his killing estimate was about 25.

Anna LeBaron Won’t Mind Reconnecting With His Reality TV Relative

From what many fans and other members of Christine’s family have stated, she doesn’t look happy in her marriage. Christine has explicitly mentioned on the show that she can’t stand the idea of living with another wife. Even though she herself is from a polygamous family, it looks like polygamy is not treating her well.
