Sister Wives: Here’s How Kody Brown Made Everyone On ‘Special Forces’ Uncomfortable!

SISTER WIVES: KODY

Sister Wives star Kody Brown impressed everyone with his physical strength and his ability to perform tough challenges in Special Forces. While he impressed the group, he also made his castmates uncomfortable. Brown has always been vocal and proud about his patriarchal thinking. However, his poorly timed, absurd comments made it unbearable for his castmates.

He is also well known for his sexist comments. Even his own family members have called him out for his odd behavior. Now, the cast of Season 4 has opened up about the father of 18, who made everyone around him extremely uncomfortable during filming. What exactly did the cast members say? Did they reveal something else, too? Keep reading to find out.

Sister Wives: Kody Slammed For Passing Sexist Comments On Special Forces

In a recent episode of Special Forces, Sister Wives star Kody Brown teamed up with Gia Giudice for a task. Amid the challenges, he admitted he is not a good leader. He said, “But good quality manhood, masculinity, is taking responsibility for the job that needs to be done and doing it.” Ironically, this came from the man who previously admitted to faking wheezing so the producers wouldn’t put too much pressure on him.

Well, that’s not all. During the Season 4 premiere, he said that, in his opinion, men want respect, whereas women seek love. Kody’s request for respect sounds a little desperate, since even his family doesn’t respect him. There have been countless incidents when his own family called him out. After he performed the helicopter task, he said one needs to be ‘good at being a man’ to do hard things. “And every once in a while, you need just proof of who you are,” Brown added.

Sister Wives: How Did Kody Brown’s Presence On Special Forces Make Everyone Awkward?

It seems that Sister Wives star Kody Brown is exceptionally skilled at making those around him uncomfortable, even without much effort. All he has to do is speak. That’s not just our opinion; apparently, it’s what his castmates on Special Forces have been saying about him. Back in August, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia revealed that she and Brown had some awkward moments while filming Season 4.

She admitted that she didn’t ‘get along well’ with Kody on the show. In one episode, he mocked Chickenfry’s profession. Brianna called him out for this on her podcast. She said that, in her opinion, Brown is “mentally slow.” Furthermore, she added that he does not know how to treat women. Moving on, Jussie Smollett also revealed that he had some awkward moments with Kody on the show. He added that the Sister Wives star didn’t know him, and he wasn’t familiar with the show.

Fans may remember that on premiere night, Smollett felt awkward when Kody asked for his surname. Jussie added that he respected Kody for not knowing who he was. “I don’t think that he was trying to set any sort of narrative,” he revealed to US Weekly in October. Moving on, Gia Giudice also shared her thoughts about the father of her 18. She stated that he wasn’t a good teammate because he only cared about himself. However, despite all the drama, she does not hold anything against Kody.

Furthermore, Shawn Johnson East also shared her thoughts on Brown. She said she got to know everyone, since they were assigned to different teams each time. Johnson explained that, when it came to vulnerability and fear, all the castmates supported her. Even though she has no bad blood with Kody, at some point, everyone got annoyed with each other because of their different styles.
