Sister Wives fans seem to be a little confused about what Kody Brown has said lately. This is not the first time he has given contradictory statements. Recently, everyone learned that Kody and Robyn talked about moving to a new place. According to Brown, he has had really rocky relationships with most of his adult kids. He also said that over the past few years, he has been through a lot.
Furthermore, the father of 18 added that if the family moves to a new place, he will be able to start fresh with his huge family. But it seems like he did not mean what he said. While the couple is ready to start fresh, they do not have space for anyone else on their new property. Will Kody and Robyn really not let anyone else step into their new house? Keep reading for further details.

Kody and Robyn Brown bought a new house last year in Flagstaff, Arizona. They purchased a 7,884-square-foot home for $2.1 million. Their new property is located nearly 16 miles from the Mountain Mansion, which was listed for $1.65 million on the market last year. According to reports, the couple also borrowed almost $1.68 million to buy their new home. While many thought that the couple had downsized, they actually bought an even bigger house.
If we dive into the details, Mountain Mansion is 2.56 acres in size. One plot includes 7,884 square feet, which is divided among the main house, guest house, and detached TV garage. To compare the old house with the new one, the couple’s previous home was 4,476 square feet and situated on 2 acres. Fans may recall that this purchase was made soon after his ex-wife, Christine Brown, sued him for child support and custody of their third child, Truely.
Sister Wives star Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn, recently revealed that they want to move to a new house. The father of 18 has often been accused of having ‘wanderlust,’ as he has moved his giant family many times before settling in Las Vegas. Over time, fans could clearly see Kody’s inclination toward whatever Robyn wanted. The sole purpose behind settling in Las Vegas was Robyn’s adult son’s college. But it has been quite some time since the family last moved.

Recently, the couple revealed that they put their huge home up for sale last year and purchased an even bigger house. According to Kody, the family decided to move because they had bad memories in their current home. His wife agreed with him, and the couple decided to move. But it seems their reason has confused fans. Kody said that he got divorced in the same house and wanted to move on from it. How illogical is it that Kody refuses to link his ex-wives with the house when he never even allowed them to step inside? It had always been Kody and Robyn, who lived in that house.
His other wives and kids rarely visited them. We understand why fans call Kody the villain of the show. Even if Brown acknowledges it and tries to change, he is clearly failing badly. Ironically, he is trying to be relatable, which is earning him more hate. In fact, he has proved again that he doesn’t know how to read subtle signs. On one hand, he says he is desperate to work on his relationships with his children. On the other hand, he is too busy pleasing Robyn and continues to ignore his ex-wives and the rest of the children.
Purchasing a new house after attempting to take everything from his former wives seems incredibly relatable. Well, the ongoing season has just begun. If Kody has already started to throw himself around, we can’t imagine what will happen by the end of it. He is trying so hard to clear his image in the eyes of viewers, but we don’t see that happening. Will Kody be able to change his villainous image? Time will tell. Until then, keep reading TV Season & Spoilers for more Sister Wives updates and tea.
