Sister Wives: Meri Wishes Her Deceased Sister Happy Birthday
Meri Brown’s sister Teresa Barber Kunz passed away due to cancer. It has been 14 years since Meri lost her sister but it’s all fresh in her mind. After she got diagnosed with bowel cancer, Teresa passed away shortly after 11 months. Meri took to Instagram on May 2nd to honor her sister.
She shared a throwback picture of Teresa enjoying at Disneyworld, Florida. When they were little Teresa adored Disneyland and her fascination continued even when she grew up. Fans already know that whenever Meri visits Disneyland, she is always in a really happy place. Maybe the reason is the bittersweet memories of her sister.
When Teresa got diagnosed with cancer, her husband thought it was time to fulfill her life long wish, which is visiting Disney World. She got there and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Meri stated that even though her sister was here for a short time, she lived a full life.
Teresa Way Too Young When Passed Away
Meri mentioned that Teresa was way too young when she said goodbye to this world. Sounding off, Meri advised fans to live their lives to the fullest because you never know when it might get cut short. Whenever she talked about her sister on Sister Wives, she started to well up. It was an indication that the sisters were really close.
In the past, Meri has also reminded fans about the importance of getting medical checkups. She stated that Teresa was the second wife in a polygamous family. Even though she passed away, during her last moments, she had the satisfaction of seeing her kids being raised in a loving household. She also knew that when she would be gone, they will be loved.
Meri and Other Siblings Went For a Checkup After Teresa’s Death
Outlining the importance of health checkups, Meri herself went for a colonoscopy and so did her other siblings. They all got tested positive for polyps. But the timely treatment and early diagnosis saved them from the fate her sister suffered.
One fan also related Meri’s words about living lives to the fullest to the current pandemic. These are hard times and according to the fan, people are already realizing things they didn’t earlier. Currently, Meri is relishing some alone time while her husband quarantines with favorite wife Robyn according to fan speculations.
